RONHILL – Munich Beach & Leisure

DESCRIPTION:

Billed as the cheerful games “Die Heiteren Spiele” Munich hosted the games of 72’ and after victories in the Boston, European and Commonwealth marathons, Ron lined up in the Marathon as one of the pre-race favorites. Ron was in the lead pack for most of the race finishing in a very respectable 6th position, his highest Olympic finish. The race was won by American Frank Shorter.
